Myers & Briggs Assessment
Core Events Executive Coaching, are certified administers of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®). This is not a test but a personality inventory which makes the theory of psychological types described by C. G. Jung understandable and useful in people’s lives.
The MBTI® tool/instrument was researched and developed in the 1940s – 50’s, by Isabel Briggs Myers. This research is ongoing, providing users with updated and new information about psychological type and its applications.
The MBTI® instrument indicates preferences on four pairs of opposites, called dichotomies:
Extraversion E or I Introversion
How we direct and receive energy
Sensing S or N Intuition
The way we take in information and the kind of information we like and trust
Thinking T or F Feeling
The way we decide and come to conclusions
Judging J or P Perceiving
How we approach the outside world
Four pairs of opposites—like our right and left hands. We all use both sides of each pair, but one is our natural preference.
At Core Events Executive Coaching each of our clients will receive an approved, MBTI® online or, paper assessment. Once completed and submitted to one of our Executive Coaches, each client, or team, will then receive a one-on-one consulting session to ensure clear understanding of their MBTI® results.
When you want an accurate profile of your personality type, or want to know how it can be used for leadership development, staffing or team building, then contact us for more information and we will arrange to deliver your assessments.
