He has implemented project management programs for multiple organizations and in multiple industries (Finance, Airlines, Information Technology, Automotive, Consulting, Healthcare, and Engineering).
Eddie Merla is the Principle of Duende Project Management a consulting and training company using Agile project management approaches to deliver consulting engagements and training programs. Our consultants and trainers have extensive experience in project management and in multiple industries. Eddie has managed project budgets and programs up to $150 million and 200 personnel. His project management experiences include North America, Europe, the Middle East, Mexico, and Asia. He has assisted clients with the implementation of project management strategies and best practices. He also implemented organizational structures to support large projects and organizations to improve delivery of project and program results.
He also has experience in implementing Agile project management techniques, including “SCRUM,” to help clients improve their product development cycle time. As a trainer and coach, Eddie Merla has a B.A. from St. Mary’s University and has trained several thousand project management professionals throughout the world on project management, leadership and soft skills topics. He has been a frequent speaker at the Project Management Institute (PMI®) both at the local level and at the International level. He has delivered seminars in
